Watershed Scientists Visit Children’s Museum

During Clean Water Week, Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District staff brought their coastal watershed model, watershed maps, and stormwater stickers to the Children’s Museum & Theater of Maine! The visiting scientist session was a huge hit, with visitors learning about watersheds and common pollutants before creating rain storms to see how water and pollutants move through a landscape. We had so much fun making hypotheses and testing them out with everyone!
