Shibashi Qigong with Ranger Liz and Clean Up Event
Eastern Promenade, Cutter Street Parking Lot
Our very own Ranger Liz will be leading a Forest Bathing and Shibashi Qigong session at the Eastern Prom and you are invited! Forest Bathing and Qigong practice is for all individuals of all abilities. The practice is simple in form and has profound healing when practiced regularly. The idea for this day is to incorporate the essence of both Forest Bathing and Qigong. The invitations will be sensory awakening, and the movement will be incorporated with visual cues. We are thrilled to have volunteers from Woodfords Family Services participating and are honored to be able to help support their focus on sensory engagement and skill-building. We will conduct a mindful clean up walk of the area immediately following the Forest Bathing and Qigong practice.
Tuesday, June 3, 1:30 PM & 5:30 PM
PWD is hosting a presentation called “Every Drop Counts." It will follow a drop of water through the water cycle, and touch on the testing done to ensure quality throughout the process! More information and the link to register can be found on their Community Events page https://www.pwd.org/communityevents/
